He is a qualified gunnery officer, trained in Surface-to-Surface missiles in the erstwhile USSR. He also attended Command and Staff College at Quantico with US Marines. Mr. Singh has served as an Instructor at the School of Maritime Warfare and Tactics, Kochi and at the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington.
